Diane Waters & Kevin Thomas Songwriting Seminar September 12

On Septmeber 12th, 2011 the San Diego Songwriter’s Guild will be having a Songwriting Seminar from 7pm to 10 pm at the County Inn. The event address is 5975 Lusk Blvd, San Diego CA.
The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
The instructors for this seminar are Diane Waters and Kevin Thomas.

Recap Legal Seminar

The San Diego Songwriter’s Guild would like to thank our special guests Valerie Ann Nemeth, Michael Hoisington, Paul Mirowski, Jeff Mach. They were kind enough to come out and present a special seminar to our gourp. The evening was filled with amazing information regarding music and the law. The seminar Covered a variety of topics relating to legal issues pertinent to musicians, bands, and songwriters. Some of the topic included the importance of copyrighting your creative works in a timely manner, Work for hire agreements, Trademarking your brand and much more.
